Here's a little concept art I did for Ackee's design a while ago when I was trying to figure out how I wanted her blacksmith outfit to look and how here powers would manifest.
The current outfit that Ackee wears in the comic is only her casual everyday outfit. I wanted her actual blacksmith outfit to be an addition to what she already wears but I couldn't decide between design 1 or 2, so I might need to revisit the idea a bit more before I'm 100% sold although I am leaning more towards design 1.
I haven't really touched upon the whole "Personal realities or Volts" part of NAC yet since we haven't gotten that far yet, (but it will be coming up in chapter 3 soon!)
but the idea behind it is all students have access to their own personal reality within the world of artisan, it's basically a complex storage system for data and/or items or whatever you'd like to keep safe really, and they can be used in different ways depending on the student.
In Ackee's case, she uses her's as a weapons volt, which she can summon into artisan at any time in different ways.... but Volts can be fully customised inside and are separate to a certain extent from Artisan, Volts are fully controlled by the individual student and only they can access them with their creative tool which acts as a custom key for the volt.
Volts can be any size depending on the users level and skills, they can also look like anything from a single room, to a house or building.
