Duppy Tales is an original supernatural mystery that blends Caribbean folklore, Black mythology, and gothic urban fantasy into a world where every spirit has a story to tell.

The story follows Max Majik, a young witch from one of the city's most respected magical families, and her partner Myth, a vampire cast out by the very world he once belonged to. Together, they investigate hauntings, curses, and mysterious duppies, uncovering the forgotten truths hidden behind each case.

At its heart, Duppy Tales is a series about empathy. While most exorcists see monsters as something to be feared or destroyed, Max believes the real mystery is understanding why they remain. Each investigation explores themes of grief, identity, prejudice, family, and belonging, revealing that the greatest threat is often not the supernatural itself, but the people who created it.

Visually, the project draws inspiration from gothic London, Caribbean culture, alternative fashion, and classic monster-hunting stories, creating a world that feels both hauntingly familiar and uniquely its own.
