Nobody gets through Artisan alone, not really.
Skye, Ackee, Bee and the rest of the crew end up tangled together by coincidence or perhaps by someone else's design. What may start as a "people I happen to know" can very quickly become the thing they can't afford to lose.
Not everyone around them is that easy to read, though.
Some faces in Artisan are working an angle of their own.
CHARACTERS
Skye
New to Artisan, she sees the world with fresh eyes and asks the questions others stopped noticing. Her curiosity pulls her into everything the world has to offer and the dangers no one warns her about.
Ackee
A steady hand in a world that often feels out of control. She shapes tools, teaches skills, and quietly keeps things running, showing that understanding the world is as important as surviving it.
Bee
Driven, sharp, and unafraid to challenge what she’s given, Bee lives under pressure and comparison. She fights to define herself on her own terms, even when the odds are stacked against her.
Lucas
Always ready to protect the people he cares about, Lucas carries more responsibility than he lets on. His confidence and sense of humour keep the group moving, but when things get serious, is he really the one they can rely on?
Kay
Quiet, observant and difficult to read, Kay prefers to stay one step behind the spotlight. He's normally the first to know when someone's sus and isn't very good at talking to girls he likes.
Identity withheld
Influence and control follow him wherever he goes. Calm, decisive, and unyielding, He shapes events from the shadows, sometimes for the greater good, sometimes for reasons only he understands.
